What a visit with your child looks like

How long it takes
The piercing itself is 1–2 seconds per ear. The whole visit, with consultation and aftercare instructions, takes about 30 minutes.
What to bring
Nothing special: clean ears and hair that can be tied back. For a baby, a bottle or a favorite toy helps.
You stay with your child
You are in the room for the whole procedure. Younger children sit on a parent's lap. Nobody takes the child out of the room.

At what age can you pierce a child's ears?
We can pierce a lobe even in an infant, because Inverness lists it from birth. For the youngest we still ask you to speak with a pediatrician. Many doctors wait until the first DTP.
How much does child ear piercing cost in Warsaw?
A pair of lobes is 150 PLN. Earrings are separate: from 70 PLN each, from 120 PLN a pair. Together from 270 PLN, depending on the model.
Does ear piercing hurt for children?
Inverness Med is much gentler than a gun. The stud parts the tissue instead of punching through it, and the mechanism does not snap. In the studio many children do not cry, though every child reacts differently.
How long does a child's piercing take to heal?
Do not remove lobe earrings before 6 weeks — that is the Inverness instruction. After that you may change them. For the next 6 months wear an earring every day so the channel does not close.
What should we bring to a visit with a child?
Nothing special. Come with clean ears and hair that can be tied back. For children, it helps to explain beforehand what the procedure will look like so they feel calm.
Can a child go to the pool after piercing?
Stay out of pools, saunas, lakes and the sea for 6 weeks on the lobe and 12 weeks on cartilage — the same window in which earrings stay in. If water does reach the ear, clean it immediately.
Which system do you use for children's ear piercing?
We work with Inverness Med. The stud sits in a sealed cassette, and the pressure is manual, with no gun spring. The system is listed in the FDA device database.
Can a parent stay during the procedure?
Yes. You stay in the room for the whole procedure. That helps the child feel safe. Nobody takes the child out of the room.
